Located at 45 South French Broad since Many 2016, Little Bee Thai started in a gas station, graduating to a food truck in 2008.
When you arrive, if the line is nearly out the door, don’t walk away. Their speedy service will have you ordering in no time. As you approach the front, you will find a whiteboard with the current menu listed. Each dish is an explosion of flavor yet simple and there is absolutely an option for everyone! For those with allergies, like myself, the staff and chef and owner, Took Charernwong will make sure all your needs are accommodated. I am gluten free and there was no hesitation by the staff at all. They quickly told me the few dishes I couldn’t eat and I was shocked by the plethora of choices I had. Sensitive to spice or ready to bring a little fire into your diet, the stars next to dishes will help you make the best choice for your pallet.
During my most recent visit, I dined with a friend and her four young children. We shared our dishes of Pad Thai, Mixed Veggie Stir Fry, Woonsen Noodles and Red Curry with chicken and veggies. Everyone was so into their food, our table was often quiet even with four kids 10 and under.
When you visit, I recommend getting a few different dishes, even if you are on your own. You’ll be so pleased with your dish, you will want to eat your way through the entire menu. Don’t miss their house-made vegan Thai chili hot sauce, Pritt Nan Pa. Veggies dunked in this sauce will not disappoint.
Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Friday and dinner on Saturday, make sure to add Little Bee Thai to your must-eat list!
