This banh mi happens to be one of my absolute favorite sandwiches of all time. Wild Ginger takes succulent pork, tucks it inside a toasted bun, adds some pate mayo, pickled vegetables, jalapeno, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro to create a perfectly balanced party for your palate. Throwing in some sweet potato fries on the side definitely doesn’t hurt.
Word has gotten out about Wild Ginger. But if you need your Vietnamese fix ASAP (and who can blame you), put in an order to go. The entire menu is available for takeout. You could be sittin’ on the couch slurpin’ up pho in no time. Or happily crunching on some Vietnamese egg rolls, or both! But definitely try the banh mi. It will make your day.
